Lemon

There's nothing quite like the fresh, clean scent of Lemon!  Definitely wonderful for cleaning around the house, this oil is also helpful with unhappy stomachs, allergies and even pain relief.  Because it is so uplifting, many people use Lemon for the treatment of depression and for general mood enhancement.  You may have noticed, Lemon is included in numerous skin care products because it is both cleansing and an excellent astringent.  This is one that will get used by the whole family!

While the possibilities are endless, we recommend you enjoy Lemon essential oil topically or aromatically.  Here's a few ideas:

  • Lemon is great applied to the abdomen area with a carrier oil for calming upset tummies
  • Use a small amount with carrier oil around the nostrils to help with itchy nose & allergies
  • Use in a diffuser with other citrus oils for a clean, uplifting aroma
  • Apply to feet with carrier oil to help stimulate circulation & immune system
  • Use a few drops in a spray bottle with distilled water as an air freshener or cleaner

Always remember to use a carrier oil when applying a full-strength oil topically, our roll-ons are pre-diluted and ready to be applied to the skin.  

Lemon is phototoxic so avoid direct sunlight for 12 hours to the area where the oil was applied.  Undiluted, excessive use may cause skin irritation.

  • Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, mucous membranes and sensitive areas
  • As with all essential oils, dilution with a carrier oil is recommended for topical use
